About me

My name is Yol, 27 years old, born and raise in a small village, south Israel. Today based in Tel Aviv  year and a third year student fashion design department at Shenkar college. 
I perceive power in fashion. As we dress with forethought or not we reveal ourselves.  Clothes have personal influencing elements (material, production locale and cut) which affect us. All of these elements need regard. I understand that I hold the power to influence how the person wearing my pieces feels about himself. My designs are inspired by topics that are important to society- whether within a personal circle or on a global scale. It’s important that the material I use tells a story and the cut, whether or not artistic interplays with the body it adorns. Since being the 2nd largest industrial polluter I believe it’s a designer’s responsibility to use as much recycled material as we can.
